H2C firmware beta adds Track Switch, remote drying and rotary support
Public beta 01.01.50.00 expands material routing and laser workflows, with specific software requirements and known limitations.

Bambu Lab opened H2C firmware 01.01.50.00 to public beta on May 12, 2026. Owners can enroll in Bambu Handy under Me → Beta Firmware Program; delivery is gradual. Leaving the program and installing the latest official firmware provides a route back to the stable channel.[1]
Update — May 14: The updated official notes detail Filament Track Switch support. Its two inputs and two outputs map AMS supplies to the two nozzles. This requires Studio 2.5.3.60 or newer, or Handy 3.18.0 or newer.[1]
AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT gain remote drying controls and drying during printing, with a lower drying temperature while a job runs. The left nozzle gains TPU support at 90A hardness or above. LAN print starts no longer require a USB storage device.[1]
Laser users gain Rotary Attachment support with Bambu Suite 01.02.02.00 or later, including camera positioning, mesh measurement and a live angle-adjustment page. The notes also add Cutting Module BirdsEye initialization, heatbed foreign-object detection and three-minute air purification after printing; some settings require Studio 2.5.3 or later.[1]
Motor-noise changes require recalibration after upgrading. Rolling back to 01.01.05.00 or earlier also requires recalibration. The beta temporarily disables PTFE tube-detachment detection, so owners should review that limitation before enrolling, especially on machines used for unattended or production jobs.[1]
