Bambu previews TPU Feed Assist and a High Flow Kit for H2D

Bambu Lab named two upcoming accessories in its H2D firmware beta announcement on January 29, 2026: a TPU Feed Assist Module and a TPU High Flow Kit. The company said the products were expected to become purchasable by the end of the first quarter.[1]
The preview appeared alongside firmware 01.02.30.06, which also introduced left-nozzle support for TPU rated 90A or harder. That printer feature has its own material restriction; it should not be read as a claim that any soft TPU will work through either nozzle. Studio 2.5 had already added TPU high-flow nozzle support in its January 27 release.[1][2]
The accessories address the practical difficulty of moving flexible filament toward the toolhead and printing it with an appropriate flow path. The initial firmware announcement did not provide a complete accessory compatibility table or a confirmed retail launch day.[1]
Update — March 18: Bambu’s official support account supplied installation videos in the community discussion and clarified the feeding arrangement. An external spool holder can be used; an AMS HT is recommended for keeping TPU dry, but is not mandatory.[3]
Importantly, using the AMS HT TPU outlet means manual feeding through its bypass. The Feed Assist Module does not turn that connection into AMS automatic loading and unloading. Owners planning a flexible-filament setup should distinguish this feed-assist workflow from ordinary AMS spool switching.[3]
