Bambu Lab launched the A2L on June 1, 2026, with a 330 × 320 × 325mm build volume. The company announced availability that day globally, with Japan and South Korea following on June 2. US launch prices were $469 for the printer and $569 for the AMS lite Combo, before tax and including shipping.[1]
To address the changing loads of larger prints, the machine combines a PMSM closed-loop extruder, adaptive vibration compensation and two granular dampers. Stability during large or tall jobs is a central part of its positioning.[1]
The separately named Blade Cutting Upgrade Kit includes cutting and pen modules, a cutting mat and accessories. It extends the platform into cutting and drawing; the A2L does not support a laser module. Print-then-Cut was described at launch as a future OTA feature.[1]
