Bambu Lab launches P2S with servo extrusion and a new touchscreen
The October 14 refresh keeps a 256mm cubic build volume while changing cooling, monitoring and nozzle service.

Bambu Lab introduced the P2S on October 14, 2025, carrying technologies from its H2 machines into the compact P-series format. The printer retains a 256 × 256 × 256mm build volume, but changes the extruder, airflow system, screen and monitoring hardware.[1]
A PMSM servo extruder provides up to 8.5kg of stated extrusion force, with resistance and position sampled at 20kHz to detect grinding and clogs. Automatic flow-dynamics calibration uses an eddy-current sensor. The cooling arrangement can draw air from outside the enclosure or retain heat through controlled airflow; that is different from claiming a separately powered chamber heater.
The interface moves to a five-inch touchscreen with Bambu Lab’s second-generation UI. A 1080p camera, improved lighting and AI checks are intended to help monitor jobs and identify failures. The quick-swap hotend releases its nozzle-and-heatsink assembly with a clip, reducing the connections involved in routine changes.
The official launch article quoted European prices of €519 for the printer and €749 for the Combo, including tax. The Combo includes AMS 2 Pro with filament drying. Prices belong to that regional launch offer and should not be converted into an unsupported worldwide price. Bambu Lab also stated that introducing the P2S did not discontinue the P1S: the older model would remain available and supported.
