Bambu Lab introduced the H2D on March 25, 2025, presenting a desktop platform for dual-nozzle 3D printing and optional laser engraving, cutting and pen plotting. The launch also brought two new material-management products, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT, into the same ecosystem.[1]
The printer was announced with a 350°C hotend, an actively heated chamber reaching 65°C and an advertised overall build envelope of 350 × 320 × 325mm. That overall envelope should not be confused with the area shared by both nozzles. The company highlighted its PMSM servo extruder, automatic nozzle-offset calibration and cameras for monitoring extrusion and aligning different processes.
The AMS 2 Pro adds filament drying and controlled vents that switch between drying and storage. The single-spool AMS HT targets engineering materials with drying up to 85°C and a bypass feed path. These are distinct accessories with different capacities and temperature capabilities.
Availability depended on the package. The $2,199 H2D AMS Combo was ready to order on announcement day, while the $1,899 printer-only version was scheduled for June. The 10W and 40W Laser Full Combos opened for preorder at $2,799 and $3,499, with shipping planned for late April. Buyers choosing a laser package were therefore placing a preorder, while the AMS Combo had a different launch-day ordering status.
