Next Bambu Lab printer: what the sources say
Upcoming Bambu Lab printers in FCC filings, patents and reports: H3C, P3C, X2D Pro, AMS 3H and 3P, the S1 scanner and a UV printer. Each source linked.
Updated 2026-10-18. Sources checked 2026-10-11.
This page lists Bambu Lab hardware that has not been announced yet. Each entry says where it comes from and what kind of source it is. When a product is announced, it moves to the "Already announced" list at the bottom.
At a glance
- H3C and P3C printers: named in FCC filings in September. Source: FCC records.
- X2D Pro: same batch of filings. Source: FCC records.
- AMS 3H, AMS 3P and an S1 3D scanner: later filings from the same batch. Source: forum screenshots and one summary site. Bambu Lab has since previewed the S1 itself (see "Already announced").
- A rack of swappable print heads: two Bambu Lab patents published in August. Whether it ends up in the H3C is our guess. Source: published patents.
- A consumer UV printer: Bambu Lab told 36Kr in August that the project has started. No date. Source: Bambu Lab, quoted by 36Kr.
H3C and P3C: two printers in FCC filings
The FCC lists a 3D printer labelled H3C from Shenzhen Tuozhu Technology, the company behind Bambu Lab. The FCC ID is 2A6J8-PF008P and the filing is dated 11 September 2026. A second printer, labelled P3C, followed on 15 September under 2A6J8-PF006P. Bambu Lab has announced neither.
A user posted the H3C label in the official Bambu Lab forum on 12 September. The P3C listing was added to the same thread on 16 September. Deskmodder reported the H3C filing on 14 September, and 3D Haber covered both printers on 20 September.
The public part of a filing shows the product type, the label, the radios (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi) and the power supplies. It does not show build volume, speed, nozzle count or a date. Photos and the manual stay sealed until March 2027. That is the FCC’s confidentiality period, not a launch date.
FCC labels can carry internal names, so H3C and P3C may not be the names on the box. The letters do fit the current line. The H2C is the H2 printer built around the Vortek hotend changer (Bambu Lab blog), so a C after the 3 reads like another changer model. That is our reading, not Bambu Lab’s.
Source: FCC equipment authorizations, a public record. A filing like this comes before a launch, but it does not confirm names, specs or timing.
X2D Pro
The same forum thread and 3D Haber report a filing for an X2D Pro, FCC ID 2A6J8-PF004E, also dated 11 September 2026. Bambu Lab already sells the X2D. The filing does not say what the Pro adds.
Source: an FCC equipment authorization, a public record. As with the H3C and P3C, it says nothing about specs or timing.
AMS 3H, AMS 3P and the S1 scanner
On 22 September, forum users posted three more listings from the same company, dated 21 and 22 September: two material units labelled AMS 3H and AMS 3P, and a device labelled S1 that the filing calls a 3D scanner (forum thread, BambuHub summary). Forum users read the H and P as "for the H3C" and "for the P3C". Nothing in the files says that.

The print-head rack patents
Two Chinese patents assigned to Shenzhen Tuozhu Technology, CN122560412A and CN122560413A, were published on 14 August 2026. Their priority date is 6 November 2025. Both describe a rack for swappable print heads. The tool head carries a head to the rack, unlocks it, leaves it there and picks up another. One of them is about spacing the parking spots closer together so the printer can carry more heads.
Forum users count nine or ten heads in the drawings and tie the patents to the H3C. The patent text does not give a number, and a patent is not a product plan.
Source: two published patents. That the H3C uses a rack like this is our reading, not something the patents or Bambu Lab say.
A consumer UV printer
On 19 August, Bambu Lab told 36Kr that it has started a consumer UV printer project. 36Kr says more than ten kinds of roles are planned, from print-head drive and ink path to materials and software, and that the first R&D jobs are already on Bambu Lab’s website. Some English write-ups give 2027 as the target. The Chinese reports we read give no date, so neither do we.
A UV printer prints ink straight onto flat objects such as phone cases or acrylic sheets. It is not a 3D printer.
Source: Bambu Lab, as quoted by 36Kr. The project is on the record. A product, a name and a date are not.
