Bambu retires X1, X1 Carbon and X1E with support dates through 2031
The X1 family follows P1P into end of life, with separate deadlines for features, security patches and spare parts.

Bambu Lab ended manufacturing and active sales of X1, X1 Carbon and X1E on March 31, 2026. Existing printers retain a published service schedule, while selected authorized distributors may still have new stock carrying the normal warranty and support.[1]
For the X1 family, bug fixes and feature updates run through May 31, 2027. Security patches have a later deadline of May 31, 2029. Spare-parts supply and technical support continue until March 31, 2031. These are separate commitments: the parts-and-service date does not extend security patches to 2031.[1]
The announcement follows the P1P retirement on February 10. P1P has its own timetable: bug fixes and feature updates until November 14, 2027, security patches until November 14, 2029, and spare parts and technical service until February 10, 2031.[2]
| Family | Feature/bug fixes | Security patches | Parts/service |
|---|
| X1 / X1 Carbon / X1E | 2027-05-31 | 2029-05-31 | 2031-03-31 |
| P1P | 2027-11-14 | 2029-11-14 | 2031-02-10 |
Bambu says the P1S remains in production and on sale, with many parts shared with P1P. Owners can continue using their existing machines; neither announcement describes an immediate shutdown of printing functions. Both notices caution that particular spare parts may sell out before the overall service period ends, which matters when planning maintenance for a fleet.[1][2]
