Bambu Lab introduced the X2D on April 14, 2026. Its mechanically switched dual-nozzle system combines a direct-drive primary hotend on the left with a rear Bowden-fed auxiliary hotend on the right, dividing tasks within multi-material printing.[1]
The announced thermal limits are 300°C at the nozzle and 65°C for the actively heated chamber. The primary nozzle alone has a 256 × 256 × 260mm build volume; the shared dual-nozzle region is 235.5 × 256 × 256mm. Model placement therefore depends on the nozzle configuration being used.[1]
US launch prices were $649 for the printer and $899 for the Combo before tax. Dual-nozzle mechanics and thermal management define this release, while regional order information determines individual delivery schedules.[1]
