A1 series beta adds AMS, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT support
October firmware expands the A1 ecosystem through a dedicated AMS Hub, with software requirements and no mixing with AMS Lite.

Bambu Lab opened A1-series firmware 01.06.10.33 to public beta on October 13, 2025, adding support for the original AMS, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT. The update gives A1 and A1 mini owners a path to use these enclosed material systems.[1]
The connection requires the new A1-series AMS Hub. On the printer, users must select the appropriate system under Settings → AMS Options → AMS Type before connecting it. AMS Lite cannot be mixed with the other AMS types in this configuration.[1]
The feature requires Bambu Handy 3.8.0 or later and Bambu Studio 2.3.0 or later. Beta enrollment is available through Handy’s Me → Beta Firmware Program, with firmware delivered gradually. Users can leave the program and install the latest official firmware to return to the stable channel.[1]
Update — October 14: Bambu’s support account linked the AMS Hub store listing and connection guide, confirming the accessory was available. It later noted that stock varied by region.[2]
The beta also fixes false blinking on the AMS Lite indicator and revises filament settings. Known limitations include no nozzle-size check when launching a new print from the SD card. With AMS, AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT connected, local firmware updating is unavailable; online updating remains possible. These constraints matter when preparing an upgrade for an existing A1 setup.[1]
